Emily's 1st Razorback Game!

Emily went to her first Razorback Game on Saturday. She was so excited about it all week!! We have now decided that we are not going to tell her about things until the day of the activity...every day last week she woke up asking to go to the Razorback Game! She loved the game! She would say "What's happening Mommy?"! It was so cute. She did the Hog Call and danced and clapped with the band! We hope you enjoy these pics! Fun at The Fair!

We went to the Fair in Fort Smith on Friday night. Emily was actually big enough to ride one of the rides all by herself...so grown up! She loved getting to pick out what ride she wanted to ride next! This is something her and her Daddy had looked forward to for awhile! Today was a very lazy day for Shelly & Emily :) We worked ALL DAY on Emily's Abby Cadaby puzzle and I am proud to say that she can now do it all by herself...what a big girl!!! Since the weather was so nice, we played outside for awhile! I thought these pictures were cute!

I also wanted to share what happened at supper tonight. Emily said our prayer before supper and it went something like this:

"God is great....do this Mommy (folding her hands).....God is great....do this Mommy (folding her hands another way....God is great...do this Mommy (folding her hands yet another way)...God is great....do this Mommy (I didn't realize there were so many different ways to fold your hands)......Ok, God is great, let us thank him for our food.....Amen.....Let's eat :)"

On Monday night Shelly & Emily (Charles had school) went to a SS Fish Fry! Emily had lots of fun playing with her friends from church. Here are a few snapshots that I thought were cute!

Already Makin' the News!

Emily had her name put in the local newspaper for having NO CAVITIES at her dentist appointment! I should hope she doesn't have cavities at 2 years old...but I guess it can happen. Just wanted to share the article with everyone!

New Technology

I am sorry that we haven't updated this in so long! Our computer died last week - just as I was working on 106 invitations and envelopes :) So, we now have a new laptop computer, printer/scanner/copier/picture printer and wireless internet!! WOO HOO - we are very excited can you tell :) So, I will be updating on a regular basis again!

Nothing New ~ Everything New

These last few weeks, Emily has just been growing and changing right before our eyes so I thought I would list some of her newest accomplishments!

* She can sing "On The Good Ship Lollipop", "A, B, C's", "Amazing Grace", "Jesus Loves Me", "Itsy Bitsy Spider", "Jesus Loves the Little Children of the World", "Good Morning To You", "Close Your Eyes"

* Her favorite songs to listen to in the car include "Do Lord", "Give Me Oil In My Lamp", "Mama Mia", "Super Trooper" (from Mama Mia), anything Veggie Tales

* Her favorite toys right now are her Cinderella dolls, "Nelope" (her baby doll), "Nelope's" stroller and high chair, dress-up clothes

* Our favorite Emilyisms "Yucky Charms" (Lucky Charms), "Compooter" (Computer), "Maggets" (Magnets), "Boot Loops" (Fruit Loops), "Binished Eating" (Finished Eating...or ABCD according to Bub), "F-F-F-Finished" (we have been working on her F's - right now they come out B's), "Poople" (Purple), "Stummy Street" (Sesame Street), "Shew Wal-Mart", "Yeah Target", "Just In Case" (apparently Mommy says this a lot!)

* She knows that "enbelopes" go to the Post Office - We drove by the Post Office one day and she said "There's the Post Office!". I said what do we do at the Post Office and she said "That's where the enbelopes go!" :) Too cute!!!

* As we are driving she points out gas stations, the bank, Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe's, the mall, Daddy's work, Beauty World (where she gets her haircut), Hobby Lobby, Chick-Fil-A, Toys 'R Us, Sears

* She loves to play outside with her toys, bubbles, chalk, "jump" (a blow-up castle from Uncle Jackie) and her tricycle which she has not quite mastered yet!

* She is so excited to go to her first Razorback football game next Saturday she keeps asking to go now!!

* She has worked really hard on her "please" and "thank you's" and actually uses them now without being told to...sometimes )

* On Friday, Emily turned on the tv even though she knows she's not supposed to. Charles said "Who told you to turn on the tv?" and Emily replied "Emily!" :)

* She is Daddy's "Sweet Baby" and Mommy's "Baby Girl" and she loves to give hugs and kisses . . . SO SWEET!!!
