Trick or Treating at Daddy's Work

Every year Charles' office has Trick or Treating on Halloween. Last year Emily did OK but she was pretty shy. This year she knew just what she was doing! She just marched around and got candy from everyone! She even said "Trick or Treat" and "Thank You"...we were very proud :) Emily was introduced to candy at Tarah's Halloween party so she is actually wanting to eat her candy too this year! We'll have to see about that!

Let's see, where does this go?

Let's get another one.

Posing!

What all is in there?

"I do it my self Daddy."

Pumpkin Carving

Emily and Daddy carved pumpkins on Thursday night. She is such a big girl! She wanted to help Daddy carve so bad! There are also a couple of pictures from the last 2 Halloweens....look how much she has grown!!!

Emily's 1st Halloween!

Emily's 2nd Halloween!

Emily's 3rd Halloween!

Oh the concentration it takes to carve a pumpkin!

Isn't she cute!

Two of a kind!

All finished!

Halloween Party

On Tuesday, my friend Tarah had a Halloween party at her house. Emily was supposed to wear her costume to the party, but she ripped it on Monday night so Adrianne had to repair it! The kids got to decorate cookies and cupcakes, were wrapped up as Mummy's, went on a "Ghost Hunt", danced to the strobe light and glowed under the black light! Emily really had fun, thank you so much Tarah!

She is concentrating so hard :)
All the hard work paid off!

She wasn't exactly looking at the camera, but it's still cute!

What a party!

Church's Fall Festival

Last Sunday our church had it's annual Fall Festival. It was the first time that Emily got to wear her "Pool Skirt" as she calls it!!! Thank you so much to my friend Adrianne for making her the cutest 50's girl :) She will hardly take it off! It was so fun to see all of the kiddos all dressed up! Emily had fun playing the games, getting her face painted and riding the train!

Our little 50's girl :)

Let the Festivities Begin

Halloween started early for us this year :) On Thursday (Oct. 23rd) Emily and Mommy had a BAD day! So, Daddy suprised us all with treats when he came home from work! He's such a good Daddy! Mommy got 3 roses, Emily got a new Ariel and we all got homemade cupcakes with chocolate frosting...yummy!

Gymnastics, Part 2

Monday I finally remembered to take my camera again to take pictures of the 2nd rotation at gymnastics! It was trampoline, tumbling and balance beam. Ms. Jennifer, Emily's teacher, is great with the kids! She has such excitement and patience! Emily loves her! Of course she got to play in the blocks and sit on the green beam for stickers today too! That's Emily's favorite part I think!
She loves the trampoline!
This is supposed to be a "seat drop" where she sits down and bounces back up. As you can see, she has the sitting down part.....
Working on those back rolls again!
Doing a forward roll on the beam.
Walking across the beam with Ms. Jennifer's help!

Pumpkin Patch

We actually found a real pumpkin patch this year! Last year the "patch" was a pile of pre-picked pumpkins for you to pick from! This year, they gave you a wagon and some cutters and said have at it! We had a picnic lunch first and then went to find "Our Great Pumpkin" :) Emily loved it! She rode in the wagon for a little while and then wanted out! She just ran up and down the rows of pumpkins pointing them out, it was so cute! At one point we could barely see her (the picture labeled "Where's Emily) and all we heard was "Uh Uh Uh" (she was trying to lift it herself :)! Then she stood up holding a pumpkin and said "I want this one!" So, that was Emily's pumpkin! The pictures were too cute not to post, so I'm afraid there's quite a few to look at! Enjoy!
